When we think of NASCAR drivers, we think of the drivers who have become legends and the big names of drivers today. However, what about the prospect of NASCAR’s future? This week, two of NASCAR’s current drivers have made posts eluding to babies. Firstly, Logano announced shortly after the Michigan race that he and his wife Brittany were expecting a baby in January. Two days later, Trevor Bayne announced that his first son and second child – Levi Bayne had arrived. Also aboard the baby bandwagon is Ty Dillon and his wife, who are due in November.
Wanted to announce this in Victory lane. Thrilled to say Brittany and I are expecting a Little Logano on 1/11/18 pic.twitter.com/Nu3neBjqov

It might not have been announced on Victory Lane, but this news is big enough by itself.
My new buddy is here! What an insane day. I found myself having to stop and pray, “Lord, I trust you.” so many times throughout the last 24 hours. After @ashtonbayne had labored for 18hrs already we ended up having to have a C-section. I’ve never felt the feelings I had last night of not being able to help or be in control, but the good thing is we know the One who is always in control, even when we have a false illusion that “we’ve got it.” Also, @ashtonbayne is completely incredible. Her and Levi are doing great! #praisegod

Ty Dillon announces their news a couple of months ago.
It is not just these newborns and soon-to-be-borns that we should consider. There are many drivers who have children, and some of them have already started expressing interest in racing themselves. Most recently, Kyle Busch was seen to be teaching his son how to drive the type of Go-Kart that Kyle had first driven as a child.
Just as a previous era of drivers saw the likes of Dale Earnhardt Sr, Richard Childress, and Bill Elliott all contribute to some of the big names we know today: Dale Earnhard Jr, Austin and Ty Dillon and Chase Elliott – as fans we can be sure that this will continue as these kids grow up. Perhaps in 20 years, we’ll see Brexton Busch, Ashton Bayne, Levi Bayne, Keelan Harvick, and Owen Larson – just to name a few – climb into cars and continue the legacy of their fathers within ARCA series, the Truck Series, the Xfinity Series and the Cup Series. NASCAR boasts its family values, and the stands always show a good number of families. How wonderful it would be for those children to reach adulthood and be able to witness the magic of racing families continuing to achieve, succeed and evolve within the sport that we all love.
