Golf destinations are advertised in almost the same way as retirement communities. Boring, unsophisticated and quiet. You have to look long and hard not to find grey hair in well-known golf meccas such as Orlando, Myrtle Beach or Scottsdale. But surely there’s a different kind of place to play great golf, dance, drink well into the night and score a few chicks along the way?
Here are 5 cities that any millennial should visit if he wants the sex, drugs and rock’n’roll lifestyle, all while squeezing in a bit of golf:
1. Miami, FL
Visiting Miami in March will likely take it’s toll on your life expectancy, but for the millennial that wants to live life to its fullest, Miami is the greatest place on earth. With a mix of golf courses, bars, beaches, and nightclubs, you can spend a week in Miami having fulfilled your dreams as a single man.
South Beach is the place to stay, being one of the only areas in Miami that doesn’t require a car. You can walk between your hotel, restaurants, beaches and clubs. Some hotels offer a shuttle to nearby golf courses such as Trump Doral and Turnberry Isle.
South Beach is swell with girls on Spring Break – literally being an exhibition of the most beautiful college girls in America. A great spot is Angels & Kings, a Hollywood bar that is essentially an ode to bad behavior. The walls are painted with mugshots, the bathrooms are covered in chalkboard to express yourself, and the drinks are insanely cheap. Did I mention its where hot single chicks hang out?
