Our insider sources reveal that Tiger Woods might be cooking up a murderous plan to usurp Michael Greller, Jordan Spieth’s caddy. After hearing the latest news about Greller’s income, Tiger must really be sharpening those knives now. This year, Woods made just $448,598. Greller, however, is likely to have earned $2 million this season alone. That is five times what Tiger Woods has brought in this entire year.
Of course, Greller owes a large part of this to Jordan Spieth. Spieth just broke Tiger’s previous on-course winnings record of $20,867,052 by finishing the season with $22,030,465 in on-course earnings. Typically, caddies earn five percent of what players rake in. That means that Greller has earned at least $1.12 million. However, he and Spieth are longtime friends and it’s likely that Spieth awarded him a generous 10 percent. If that assumption is correct, Greller has made bank with $2.12 million, $1.6 million more than Tiger’s paltry 2015 earnings.
At this point in time, it’s really good to be working for the world’s best golfer.
