The former Newcastle United striker has clearly decided he’d had enough of Sigi Schmid continually ballsing up Seattle Sounders’ MLS Cup campaigns despite probably having the finest squad out of the two conferences.
Martins MLS exit is a major blow for the American league, with the striker joining Seattle in 2013 as a player in his peak, which went a little way in dispelling the myth that Major League Soccer is a retirement home for one-time superstars.
