Unlike Jose Mourinho, Eva Carneiro is back in work, but the former Chelsea team doctor has left the (not so) beautiful game behind and has popped up in Gibraltar.
Carneiro is still locked in a legal battle against the former Chelsea manager, which also includes the 42-year-old wanting a public apology from Jose following her high profile and controversial exit from Stamford Bridge.
“We’re not expecting a resolution today. The two sides are so far apart financially. And we want Mr Mourinho to make a public apology.”
Carneiro’s barrister, Mary O’Rourke QC
Mourinho criticised Carneiro publicly after the doctor ran onto the pitch to treat Eden Hazard in Chelsea’s draw with Swansea City on the opening day of the season, with the Blues frantically chasing the winner. Following the incident, Carneiro was stripped of her first-team duties and eventually left the Premier League side in September.

The soon-to-be new Manchester City gaffer is definitely the sort of bloke who opts for ‘sweaty’ goals on FIFA, chooses microwaveable rice over cooking his own and uses those ‘slides’ at bowling.
Wouldn’t it be refreshing for Pep to have taken over a club further down the footballing food chain and to truly prove himself as a well-rounded manager.
