Remembering when Sergio Garcia attempted World Record for fastest hole ever played

This world record attempt took place at the Valderrama Golf Club ahead at last year’s Spanish Open. The par-5 fourth was used to ensure the record could be achieved (it needed to be 500-yard or longer to count).

Team France (Raphael Jacquelin, Alex Levy, Romain Wattel, and Gregory Havret) shattered the mark, halving the previous record of 68 seconds with their birdie that took just 34.8 seconds to complete.

Sergio’s 2017 Masters has faltered. He is one in front of Justin Rose, and now leads the tournament on -9.
