At the age of 61 Greg Norman is defying youth.

That swing still has a ton of class! The former number one – who spent 331 weeks at that position – is in Mexico playing a few holes in the buildup to the OHL Classic, where Graeme McDowell is the defending champion.

There’s plenty of quality in the field from the likes of Ian Poulter, Angel Cabrera, K.J. Choi, Ernie Els and Jim Furyk, although social media seemed more interested by Mr Norman’s physique.

It’s no secret that Greg takes fitness very seriously. This is him near the end of last year.

“I was the one who first changed all that.” Now 85 percent of tour players follow regular strength-training programs, according to Norman. “My family’s the same way, so it’s easy for all of us to self-regulate. I’m aware of my body because I want to be around a long time.”
