Justin Thomas has been a hot player this season, winning back to back tournaments early on. He’s back in it at the WGC-Mexico Championship this week and clearly he’s not done yet.
Thomas holed out from 100-yards out in a surprising turn of events and even he couldn’t believe it. See his Michael Jordan shoulder shrug:
The hole-out. ?

Dustin Johnson, making his debut as World No. 1, is also out there in Mexico City putting on a show for his fans. He made this clutch birdie from under some trees:

Phil Mickelson made this shot from the trees as well, showing just how perfect his short game is. He’s currently leading the field and you can see why:
Another shot from the trees for Phil.
Another reason to give us a thrill.

Rory McIlroy is back in the game as well, making his return after resting from a rib injury. He’s competing with DJ to get his spot back as World No. 1, but it won’t be easy. The field in Mexico is comprised of the 77 best players in the world and they all have their work cut out for them with the altitude changes.
Let’s just say these guys are good. Looking forward to seeing these guys party it up after the rounds. The best golfers in the world getting hammered? Amazing. Tequila and margaritas, please.
