It was made clear Monday night that the Denver Broncos have not easily forgiven Brock Osweiler taking the ridiculous $72 million contract with the Houston Texans. However, the Broncos are getting the last laugh with a 27-9 victory against the Texans, making Osweiler look like a joke.
Brock Osweiler was not looking like a 72 million dollar man Monday night, averaging less than 3.2 yard per attempt, which is the worst in the NFL this season.
Brock Osweiler’s 3.2 yards per pass attempt vs @Broncos is 3rd-fewest in a single game by a player with 40+ attempts in the Super Bowl era

And Broncos fans were not letting him off easy. Feeling a little betrayed from last March, fans let everyone in on their savage thoughs.

And even Broncos Von Miller was sending a message!

And if you thought fans were still stirring about the record deal, Brock’s old teammates haven’t exactly healed from it either. Leading up to the game, Osweiler’s former teammates were making it clear that there was a little bit more to this game than usual.
We know he looked up at those passing yards in the fourth quarter. And maybe it wouldn’t have looked like that if he had stayed.

And Von Miller was not messing around tonight. Going into the game, he mentioned that he would be putting a little “extra sauce” during Monday night. And he didn’t disappoint.

Don’t be fooled though if you didn’t think Osweiler wasn’t expecting any of this.
I assumed I’d get a lot of boos. In fact, I thought it would be a little bit louder with those boos. I think there was so much that was built up about myself and the Broncos in this game. And at the end of the day, it was the Houston Texans versus the Denver Broncos. We came up here tonight. We did not play a good enough football game to get this job done.

Even though there were some hurt feelings and strong words said, it was all hugs and smiles after the game as the old teammates reunited.

There shouldn’t be any Denver fans out there tonight still upset about the Brock deserting the team. Obviously, everything happens for a reason.

At the end of the day, we all know that Elway and the Broncos aren’t hurting without Big Bucks Brock.
