Here’s proof Floyd Mayweather has more money than God

Michael Briggs

Floyd Mayweather hasn’t earned the nickname “Money Mayweather” for no reason. The undefeated boxer has made hundreds of millions of dollars over his fighting career and boasts a net worth of nearly $400 million. The Michigan native definitely isn’t socking away all that dough for a rainy day, though. He wears his shoes and boxers once, travels with a personal barber and walks around with sacks full of cash. These are the most reckless, expensive purchases “Money Mayweather” has made.

Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita

Floyd purchased this uber-rare car in 2015 for $4.8 million. Mayweather is one of just two people on the planet to own the Trevita, Swedish for “three whites”, which goes 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds. All total, his car collection is worth over $15 million.

Hermes, Hermes, Hermes

In one shopping trip in Paris, Mayweather spent $400,000 on Hermes bags. The boxer posted a photo of himself on the shopping spree along with the caption, “Over $400,000 spent in Hermes cause I stay in my lane”. Not too many people can drive in that lane.

$10 Million-Plus in Jewelry

Mayweather reportedly owns millions of dollars worth of jewelry, including a $1.1 million Hublot watch decked out in white diamonds that he purchased in Dubai. He also had $7 million worth of jewelry stolen from him in 2008.

Bugatti Veyron

Floyd’s car collection is one of the greatest on the planet. The orange and black Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse he purchased in 2015 cost him a cool $3.5 million.

Miami Penthouse

Floyd loves Miami and proved it with this $1.5 million penthouse he purchased in 2010. The 3,000 square foot condo, which Mayweather has renovated several times, features four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Las Vegas Mansion

Floyd’s mega-mansion puts most other mansions to shame. “Big Boy Mansion” has seven bathrooms, five bathrooms, a two-story home movie theater and 24-foot ceilings. The 22,000 square foot pad sits on a golf course, too. Vegas, baby.

iPod Case

In hindsight, this purchase looks extremely reckless. In 2010, the boxer spent $50,000 on a diamond-encrusted iPod Classic case. You read that correctly — $50k just to protect his tunes.

$10 Million Engagement Ring

Diamonds are forever, but Mayweather still hasn’t tied the knot. The boxer was serious about marriage once, though. The boxer bought this $10 million engagement ring for his then-girlfriend Shantel Jackson. Money couldn’t buy him everlasting love, unfortunately.

Tricked-out Golf Cart

It’s not just cars Mayweather splurges on, as the boxer has also been known to throw down a lot of dough for golf carts. He bought himself a $20,000 Cadillac golf cart a few years ago and purchased this custom gold Bentley golf cart for his son in 2014. Speaking of kids, Floyd also spent seven figures on his daughter’s Sweet 16 party. The celebration, which was at the Mirage Grand Ballroom in Vegas, featured performances from rappers Drake and Future.

G5 Jet

When you’re the highest-paid athlete on the planet, you’re not going to fly commercial. Mayweather makes use of his own $35 million G5 jet when he wants to travel, which he appears to do frequently.

Mayweather makes a lot of money and certainly knows how to spend it. While most people would be broke if they spent as recklessly as he does, “Money Mayweather” is simply too rich to overspend.
