WATCH: Greek Freak dominates Russell Westbrook in head to head matchup

In a battle of athletic freaks, 22-year-old Giannis Antetokounmpo got the better of triple double machine Russell Westbrook, leading his young Bucks team to a victory against the Thunder.

The Greek Freak is the real deal. The 6’11 220-pound point guard for the Milwaukee Bucks may be the most unique athlete we have seen in NBA history.

I say this while showing you a clip of him Euro stepping past Russell Westbrook, who is the best athlete on the court 99.9% of the time he is not playing LeBron or Giannis.

This is for any Westbrook fans not ready to give Giannis his props. At 22, he has become the NBA’s brightest rising star, surpassing even Anthony Davis and Karl Anthony Towns. You gotta give it to Westbrook though, even with a seven inch height disadvantage he attacks the rim fearlessly, but when the Greek Freak is protecting the rim, it may be wise to proceed with caution. He even made a young fan change jerseys after this play. We see you little man, the truth shall set you free.

Selected 15th in the 2013 NBA draft, Antetokounmpo has made huge strides each season and looks poised to make his first all-star team. The 14 teams that passed on him must lose sleep nightly; who would you rather have Anthony Bennett and Giannis? Bennet was ultimately part of the deal that brought Kevin Love to Cleveland, but could you imagine if the Cavs took Giannis number 1 overall? If they did, LeBron wouldn’t have to worry about plays like this.

Antetokounmpo flew past LeBron with ease, making the best player of our generation think twice about attempting one of his famous chase down blocks. It’s plays like these that have NBA fans excited, the ceiling for Giannis seems non existent; at 22, he looks like a top 10 NBA player.

So what does the future hold for Giannis? If he continues on this trajectory, the sky is the limit. Pairing Jabari Parker with Giannis gives Milwaukee the best young duo in the NBA. Giannis looks like a future MVP, and with the right supporting cast, they could turn the Bucks into a legitimate contender.
