The New York Giants wide receiver is the latest professional athlete to put on a disguise and cruise around with normal everyday citizens as a Lyft driver. His look did not undertake a drastic change, yet no one along for the ride was able to notice that they were sitting next to an all-star pass catcher.
When he is not partying on yachts in Miami with Justin Bieber or catching touchdowns in the NFL, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. apparently likes to kill time as a driver for Lyft. Or at least, that is what was displayed in a recent video released by the company.
Beckham is shown greeting his customers for the day in disguise that is meant to prevent his identity from being revealed. However, all Beckham wore to hide his face was a simple beanie and a pair of sunglasses.
Nothing that would likely fool a die-hard Giants fan. But obviously it was enough to fool the riders that were shown sitting less than a foot away from Beckham in the video.
The wide receiver did find time to have a bit of fun with his job during the day, even taking a few shots at himself.
“I don’t know how I feel about him, always dancing all the time. You want to do dancing or do you want to play football? Which one is it?”

It is refreshing to see that Beckham is able to have enough self-awareness to poke fun at himself. Even he knows that proposing to a kicking net is downright silly.
Maybe this video will get a few of the wide receiver’s critics to not be so harsh the next time he does a full Michael Jackson dance routine after scoring a touchdown?
Probably not.
But even his critics still continue to blabber on, Beckham is unlikely to stop being himself and dancing like a fool.
