As the Golden State Warriors finished whipping the floor with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, it’s fun to debate who would actually stand a chance at beating them. Don’t worry, this isn’t one of those articles that debates a team from a previous decade against the 2017 NBA Champs, in fact, this is one that will probably never exist.
De’Aaron Fox, who played at the University of Kentucky at went fifth overall to the Kings, told the media that he believes a team comprised of the five best Wildcats would beat the reigning champs. And you know what, it’s hard to argue. Five-on-five. I say bring it on
Lets be real, there’s no way the five best UK players take down the champs in a seven game series. But considering four of them are All-Stars, they would be the toughest opponent the Warriors would have faced all season, including the playoffs. Who honestly wouldn’t want to see Curry vs. Wall, or KD vs. AD, or Booker vs. Klay? The only thing for sure here is this would have been a more exciting series than the Warriors and Cavs were.
