The solution to this sort of delay is still a long way away, how does the Formula One circus fight the weather? Given that vacuum’s are cordless now, F1 must be annoyed that Dyson aren’t affiliated with the sport. We could have an army of track marshals hoovering up the standing water, instead we are live, but delayed.

Q1 started and then stopped but some drivers registered times. As it stands, Perez is on pole with Hulkenberg behind him. Alonso is 3rd and Felipe Nasr’s Sauber lines up 4th. Nico Rosberg is 20th, with Hamilton 21st…

The rain is still pestering the circuit, if it continues and qualifying is cancelled, Force India will line-up on the front-row!
