This course was designed by famous golf course architect Tom Bendelow.
The first time this course hosted the PGA Championship, the combined age of the first and second place finishers was 42 years old, the youngest combined total in PGA Championship history.
A major championship at this course once needed 91 holes of golf before a winner could be determined.
