John Daly is ticked off about the PGA Tour’s drug testing policy and isn’t holding back. Daly went off Tuesday night, calling the policy “a big joke.”
His rant began when he was asked on SiriusXM’s “Hit It Hard with John Daly” whether drug testing on the PGA Tour was random. Listen to the entire soundbite below.

Daly really let PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem and chief of operations Andy Pazder have it, saying, “Andy Pazder, if you listen to this show, you and Tim Finchem get off your ass and get it right. You know, I’m tired of it. Because it has to be random; this is bulls—. And I’m sorry, fine me, I don’t care what you do, fine me, but do it randomly.”
The biggest issue for Daly was clearly the predictability aspect of the testing.
“I know when I’m getting drug tested,” he said. “That’s sad. They all know when we’re getting drug tested. And for you dopers and all that s— on the PGA Tour, you know you’re getting drug tested, you got it made! You got it made! And I’m tired of it.”
Here’s what some of the reaction was on Twitter after the interview got people’s attention:

What should golf make of Daly’s comments? Is he justified in what he’s saying, or is he off his rocker? His comments, while unrelated, come on the heels of former pro Dan Olsen’s remarks about Tiger Woods. Olsen claimed (before retracting) that Woods is currently serving a suspension because he got caught using PEDs. Daly’s comments also come at a time where new questions have arisen regarding Dustin Johnson’s leave of absence last year, when it was rumored he was taking time away from the game due to cocaine usage. Although Johnson says his leave had nothing to due with a drug-related suspension, numerous media outlets have reported to the contrary.
