Bubba Watson, Ben Crane, Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan need to step their game up. The popular “Golf Boys” group has been outdone by “R-Rabbit” and “Q-Tip”, the latest entries into the seemingly popular “golf rap” genre.
The aspiring rap stars are actually two salesmen from Bobick’s Golf in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Back in March, they released their first music video, “Turbulators,” rapping about the PING G30 driver.
Lyrics include: “The scientists at Ping, I promise ain’t trying to bore us / by putting things on their driver that look like a Stegosaurus.” Alright then.
Here’s the follow up video, released just a couple weeks ago. Titled “PM Grindin,” the duo rap about the new Callaway Mack Daddy PM wedges. Rapping about golf clubs, who knew right? That has to get you street cred.
Here’s one of our favorite lines: “Hitting flop shots to the green from all around, call me carousel the way I’m hittin’ up and down.” Genius. Pure genius.
Honestly, these guys are flat out hilarious, and talented. If they don’t get nominated for a 2016 Grammy, we riot.
