While Tiger Woods was playing bad golf again at the Memorial Tournament, his niece was tearing it up north of the border.

24-year-old Cheyenne Woods shot a course-record-tying 63 at the Whistle Bear Golf Club in Ontario, Canada during the first round of the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic on Thursday. The round vaulted her into the lead. Woods hit 100 percent of fairways in the round, averaged 276 yards off the tee, and only missed two of her 18 greens (she ended the day tied with Cristie Kerr and P.K. Kongkraphan, who also matched the course record).

Could the reason for this strong play be that two days prior Cheyenne met one of her favorite artists, Drake? Cheyenne met the Canadian rapper for the first time on Tuesday – Drake was in his hometown Toronto for a concert. Woods, accompanied by fellow players Sadena Parks and Jaye Marie Green, attended the show, and met Drake afterward.

“I have always been a huge Drake fan,” Cheyenne said afterward. “I listen to him when I warm up, off the course, everything. When I saw that he released his tour schedule, I looked at it to see if any of the cities matched up with our Tour stops.”

If you’re curious, her favorite song from the concert was “Know Yourself,” from his latest album, “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.”
