As much as the top professional golfers in the world will be on display this week at the U.S. Open, so will the course itself. Chambers Bay, the British links-style course right off the Puget Sound, is hosting its first ever major championship.
Designed by famed architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., the course opened for play almost eight years ago to the day.
