Pro-Am or not, Tiger Woods looked pretty darn good out at The Greenbrier on Wednesday. And if you’re Tiger Woods these days, you’ll take whatever you can get. Keep in mind – Woods has failed to break 80 in three of his past 16 rounds after only doing that once in his first 1,107 rounds as a pro.
Not to mention, Woods has fallen to 220 in the World Golf Rankings.
So on Wednesday, Woods didn’t just look ok – he actually looked, well, like Tiger. Meaning the old Tiger. According to those on site at the Greenbrier Classic Pro-Am, Woods three-putted on the first hole, but played flawless golf the rest of his front nine.
I know, I know. It's only Wednesday. It's just a pro-am. But Tiger Woods just hit every fairway and every green on the front-nine.

So what does this mean for Tiger this week? Who knows, really. It’s just a practice round. Tiger tees off Thursday at 8:10 a.m. off No. 10. He’s playing the first two rounds with Steve Stricker and David Lingmerth.
Tiger says he's playing pain-free and the short game still is in good shape.

After his round Wednesday, Woods met with the media for about a six minute press conference. He said that after the U.S. Open, he took his family for a vacation to the Bahamas to “get away from golf for a while.” Here’s the full press conference:
