Even though the 2016 Rio Olympic Games are still a year away, it’s an exciting time if you’re a golf fan, with the sport set to return to the games for the first time in 112 years.
The course, which we still don’t know a ton about, is getting set for a test event, slated for the first quarter of 2016. But now at least we have an idea of what the course will look like, thanks to new photos that just came out.
According to designer Gil Hanse, course construction was completed in January. Golfweek reported this month that the clubhouse will be finished in November.

The Rio Olympic golf tournaments will include 60 men and 60 women each, with no more than four players per nation (no more than two once past the top 15 in world rankings).
