John Boehner has revealed in a recent interview with David Feherty that his Republican colleagues have banned him from teeing it up with President Obama as they are concerned what mischief they might get up to. The above picture was taken in 2011 on the course at Andrews Air Force base in the heat of financial discussions.

Let me start by saying the world has gone mad. Trump is leading the Republican presidential race. Tiger Woods is medicore at best. ISIS are taking over the Middle East. A dentist pays $50,000 to kill a lion in Zimbabwe. And now this. I just… I can’t handle…

Democrats and Republicans have had a pretty lousy marriage since… pretty much the start of American history, but they took it to a new low this afternoon when John Boehner told David Feherty on a taping of his show Feherty that he is no longer allowed to play golf with Obama as they are worried about topics that might arise. Bloody control freaks.

The inability for Democrats and Republicans to come to a settlement has halted legislation for months. That feud has sadly spilled over to the golf course, according to Boehner.

‘The president has suggested, “Hey, do you think it is too much trouble to play golf again?” ‘I have to look at him and say, “Yes, because everybody gets bent out of shape worried about what we are up to, when all we are really going to do is just play golf”.’

During heated budget negations in 2011, Obama and Boehner played several games of golf but failed to agree on a grand bargain. in 2011 during the heat of budget negotiations, but the foray on the links failed to help in an elusive search for a grand bargain.

When asked to further elaborate on his golfing relationship with Obama, Boehner recalled a golf match with Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

‘President Obama shows up, we are getting ready to putt a few, and he says, ‘Boehner, you and I are partners. We are going to take these guys (Kasich and Biden) on,’ Boehner recalled. ‘I thought John Kasich was going to cry. So the president and I whipped up on them pretty good and they paid up.’

These days are now gone and the President will have to find a new golf partner. Will Trump put his name forward? The world may just be mad enough…
