If McIlroy does declare himself ready to compete at Whistling Straits, be sure to get your popcorn ready. He finished third on the Wisconsin course in 2010 as a 21-year-old, and won the PGA Championship last year at Valhalla. Jordan Spieth has a chance to overtake him as the top-ranked player in the world this week at the WGC-Bridgestone. The two in the same field next week would be must watch sports television.
