Is Rory McIlroy trolling us all, or is this just his way of dropping hints that the world No. 1 will indeed be playing in next week’s PGA Championship?
Either way, McIlroy has our attention. What we do know for sure is that he’s headed to the United States. His latest Instagram post (below) follows a series of not too subtle social media messages that McIlroy will indeed give it a go at Whistling Straits next week.

If McIlroy does declare himself ready to compete at Whistling Straits, be sure to get your popcorn ready. He finished third on the Wisconsin course in 2010 as a 21-year-old, and won the PGA Championship last year at Valhalla. Jordan Spieth has a chance to overtake him as the top-ranked player in the world this week at the WGC-Bridgestone. The two in the same field next week would be must watch sports television.
