Paralyzed Man Learns To Play Golf

After a swimming accident three years ago, Cory Cook was paralyzed from the waist down, he thought he would never walk again.

Cook is taking steps to learn to walk again using the help of Rewalk, a robotic exoskeletal device, he is one of only 70 users in the US.

Using his new freedom Cory was keen to get back out into nature. With the help from the organisation Golf For All he was able to fulfill this dream.

Fred Corcoran, from Golf For All set up the project to help individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities gain personal benefits from the sport of golf.

Great to see sports being used in a way to provide healing to disadvantaged people.
