Phil Mickelson slides gleefully down hill in between holes

While all eyes were on Spieth and McIlroy, Phil Mickelson went relatively unnoticed. Or at least, he might have been if he hadn’t decided to allow his inner wild child free reign on the course. He may have scored a disappointing one over par on the eighth hole, but he saw no reason not to celebrate anyway. Here he is sliding down a hill to get from one hole to another. Much more entertaining than the sedate, dignified stroll most golfers affect as they traverse the course.

Well, what can we say? We’re very happy to see a golfer who knows how to take career hiccups in stride. We have a feeling that Jordan Spieth’s plan to needle Mickelson with his US Open Trophy might not go as planned.
