It’s been a grand day for golfing moms everywhere. While Jordan Spieth won’t be taking home the Wanamaker Trophy, being Number 1. in the world is nothing to scoff at and no one knows this better than his mother. During their flight back to Texas from Wisconsin on their private jet, Christine Spieth took a picture of her son with his 14-year old sister Ellie on his lap. Both of them are making the Rock On sign and Ellie is sporting a tongue-in-cheek Spieth For President T-shirt. We think she’s only half joking.
Although Ellie’s pretty tough on Jordan when he doesn’t win, we hope him being Number 1 will convince her to go easy on him this time.
