Jason Day might not survive Barclays intact

Jason Day’s luck at Whistling Straits might not tide him over at the Barclays. After sustaining a back injury on Tuesday, he had to back out of Wednesday’s pro-am because of the pain and did not seem to have recovered much early this morning. Watch what happens at the 12th hole.

Day has suffered from a vast array of back and hand problems throughout his career, as well as vertigo during the US Open. We’re hoping that none of these rear their ugly heads at more crucial moments, but from the way he was clutching his back, we think we have reason to be worried.
