At just 22 years old, Spieth’s career earnings are now over $22 million. With his easy victory at East Lake, the Texan set the PGA TOUR record with $12,030,465 in earnings during his 2015 season.
Spieth’s dream season got even better when he sank seemingly every putt at East Lake to defeat Henrik Stenson, Danny Lee and Justin Rose by four shots. His 1-under 69 means he is the youngest ever FedEx Cup champion, and takes home a bonus check of $10 million.
Sunday’s victory was the fifth of Spieth’s 2015 season, which included the Masters and U.S. Open titles. He also returns to Number 1 in the world.
