Tiger Woods’ Tiger Slam 2001 Putter Goes On The Market

2001 was a great year for Tiger Woods. He was single, rich, and famous – and he held all four majors having won the Masters by two shots over David Duval.

The tool behind his success was a Scotty Cameron Newport German stainless putter. With this weapon, he emphatically won the Tiger Slam. In fact, he’d go on to win 13 of his 14 majors with it.

Now you can own the putter behind his storybook career. Sort of.

Titleist made an exact replica of Tiger’s putter in case it got lost or damaged, right down to the T.W. printed on the face and bumpers, which is now on the market. At just $29,000, it’s actually a bargain if you want to be a part of Tiger Woods history. The current owner, who purchased it through Green Jacket Auctions in April, has assured buyers that the putter comes with documentation from Scotty Cameron (basically a certificate verifying the putter was made for Tiger Woods’ 2001 season).
