Back-To-Back Hole Outs Do Not Happen Often

John Huh raises Jarrod Lyle an eagle and his response is just as good

The shot of the day at the Open looked certain as John Huh guided his ball home from 122-yards. Jarrod Lyle, who was admittedly 60 yards closer, spun a beauty back to join his partner at the base of the flag stick. Lyle is a popular guy on tour and has had a career affected by the recurrence of acute myeloid leukemia. We have huge respect for this guy as he continues his career and we wish him all the best.

The shots came as the two played their approaches to the par-5 16th.  You can expect the scoring to be low in Napa this weekend as the majority of the field carded level par or lower. Leading the field was Brendan Steele with a first round 63.
