The Race to the CME Globe is the LPGA’s equivalent of the PGA’s FedEx Cup, where the players accumulate points throughout the season and try to win best overall player of the year. The prize for winning the CME Globe is a million dollar bonus.
Lydia Ko, 18 year old rockstar in the LPGA, won. Again. For the second time in a row. This is her holding up her money like a boss.
She also won her first Rolex this season and celebrated by making a video of herself on the @lpga account, imitating Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers movies.
I’m sure she’ll spend her money on something a little more useful than a robot shark. Congrats Lydia! Yeah baby yeah.
