Ellie Day was left in a bad way as Lebron James flew into the crowd in an attempt to save a loose ball during last night’s game. Ellie was taken to Cleveland’s Metro Hospital on a stretcher after the collision left her needing treatment.

Ellie had no time to react as Lebron desperately tried to keep the play alive.
Ellie was watching the Cav’s game with her husband as the 250-pound star came crashing into the courtside seats raising concerns about fan’s safety. Fortunately Ellie was later released from hospital and a potentially horrific accident was avoided. The Cavs went on to win the game 104-100 with James scoring a game-high 33 points.
“She squeezed my hand, said she was fine. I think she was just a little weary,” James said, postgame.
“It wasn’t anything out of the usual besides the injury, but to me, obviously her health is very important and hopefully she’s doing well. The guys told us she’s doing great now.
“So, but you know, I was going for a loose ball. Just trying to keep the possession going and I hate that that was the end result of it.”
We wish Ellie a speedy recovery and hope that this whole incident will seem humorous over a few Christmas drinks.
