- Brandt Snedeker recently carded an ’embarrassing’ 84 after his first round at the Australian PGA.
- The American reportedly gatecrashed a Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Jimmy Walker and Justin Thomas four-ball.
Kapalua, Hawaii – Spieth, Fowler, Walker and Thomas are limbering up for the funnest part of the tournament week, Tuesday practice. The stakes are high and two teams have been assembled, for today the crew are out to get some competitive ‘action’ going.

Spieth and Thomas – R college friends – are to play Walker and Fowler, with both teams vying for blood (and cash).
But wait! What’s that?
Enter Brandt. “Hey guys, don’t mind if I squeeze in do you? Gee thanks!”
Enter Spieth. “It was supposed to be two on two, then Brandt bugged in.”
I know what you’re thinking, how the hell are these boys going to part (or gain) with hard-earned cash now Brandt has rocked up and made it a ménage a cinq?
Enter Rickie – Phil Mickelson’s mentee is a predictably wily gambler. The Californian surveyed the situation and decided, focus because this is some real inception shit, that Spieth and Thomas would play three games against Fowler/Snedeker, Fowler/Walker and Snedeker/Walker. It’s a game within a game within a game accept, unlike the movie, it’s not pointless and annoying.
It would appear Jordan and Justin choked and were beaten on the 18th in all three games, “It ended badly,” said a forlorn Justin Thomas. ‘Curse you Brandt’ he muttered under his breath.
