The Safeway Open is underway and they have the cutest shopping cart tee markers!
For sponsors, a great way to showcase their brand is by creating these tee markers. This way at each hole, you’re reminded in a subtle yet effective way who funds the tournament.
These are some of the best tee markers throughout golf:
The Hyundai Tournament of Champions
These teeny weeny little cars served their purpose as tee markers for the professionals during the Hyundai TOC, but honestly they do so much more than that. They provide constant marketing for their product, which is a Hyundai (obviously). These little cars look so much like their larger counter parts, with opening doors, trunk, and even sunroof, that it looked like there was a “win this car” contest on every hole. Well done Hyundai.
FedEx St. Jude Classic

Speaking of tiny cars, FedEx uses little freight trucks as tee markers at their tournaments. I’m not sure how functional these tiny trucks are compared to the mini Hyundai’s but they are definitely just as cute.
John Deere Classic
This mini tractor looks like a useable toy for mini golf fans. That’s not a bad idea actually, to have these special tee markers donated to good will after tournaments so golfers aren’t the only ones enjoying them.
Valspar Championship
These realistic Valspar paint cans, are a great way to add some color to this championship tournament. I am loving the realistic variations of tee markers.
Wegmans LPGA Championship/Safeway Open
Wegmans used these shopping carts as their tee markers at the LPGA Championship and Safeway went the same route. This makes me want to put mini groceries into them and cart them off the tee boxes. Kevin Na had the right idea..
FedEx Cup Playoffs
You will never not know when Coca-cola is sponsoring something. Their classic bottles or cans will flood the tournament and that bright red will always catch your eye. Very cool tee markers.
Which tee markers do you think are the coolest?
