Chelsea have announced Beats as their “new and first ever Official Sound Partner” – who’s going to be the one to tell the Blues that a sound partner isn’t even a thing?
Whatever the partnership means, it just highlights the continual growth of sponsorship within the beautiful game – we aren’t far away from clubs having the inside of their shirts sponsored or having an official ‘Air Partner’.
Anyway, with the Beats partnership locked down, who will the Blues turn to in the summer window when Allegri is rumoured to be taking over?!
The former Chelsea striker will make an emotional return to Stamford Bridge because, let’s face it, he celebrates goals like he’s permanently listening to Beats – the Liverpool striker is actually available, so a move might not be as ridiculous as first thought!
THE REAL CESC FABREGAS
Cesc is a brand ambassador for the headphones company, therefore, hopefully with Beats on board, the former Barcelona man will rediscover his debut season form rather than carrying on with the shower of shite he has been turning in this campaign.
Do the cool kids at school still say: “I’m going to give you beats, bruv!”?
Now, they don’t mean they will generously hand you over an expensive pair of headphones. No, they actually mean they’re going to beat the shit out of you, something Pepe is an expert in.
An unexpected return to the Bridge is on the cards for recently departed club hero, Petr Cech, because a club that has a partnership with Beats, just has to have this man on the drums (and between the sticks).
