What a day to be an Arsenal fan. After suffering through an agonising 90 minutes, watching their top stars underperform and squander chance after chance, that man Danny Welbeck pops up in the 94th minute to win it for the Gunners.
Making his first appearance in 10 months for Arsenal, Welbeck rose the highest in a crowded penalty area to flick the ball into the corner of the net – the Emirates was in a rare state of hysteria.

After 45 minutes, Arsenal’s title challenge looked wounded; Jamie Vardy firing Leicester ahead from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time.
The game changed early in the second half as Danny Simpson received a red card following two careless and clumsy challenges.
Just two weeks after his return to football with the Arsenal U21’s, Danny Welbeck marked his comeback to the first team with a dramatic late winner.
