Liverpool’s Origi Doesn’t Hold Back In Latest Interview

All aboard the ‘Here’s What I Really Meant’ banter bus! Today, Liverpool’s Divock Origi is dishing out a dose of the truth, speaking with Liverpool’s official site following his goal in the 6-0 win over Aston Villa.

The Reds striker kicked things off by discussing *that* kiss with a cheeky Scouser…

“Let’s say he was emotional! I could feel the love, definitely.”

Translation: “I’ve had 14 showers since the incident but I worry I’ll feel forever unclean”

“I turned and the first thing I saw was the fans. They were so happy and I wanted to celebrate with them.

Translation: “I was looking for the nearest exit but I took a wrong turning and ended up in amongst the scum”

“I think maybe on Valentine’s Day they were a little bit more emotional so I had some kisses, but it was nice to see.

Translation: “I bet I bloody caught something of off them.”

“I think the supporters of Liverpool are very passionate and for us to be able to give something back to them is wonderful. I think it’s a big plus for the club also.”

Translation: “When did beating Aston Villa become such a big deal. I’ve even heard rumours it may become a national holiday.”

“I came on and the coach asked me to play on my qualities and go behind defenders and just propose solutions.

Translation : “Jurgen said to me: “Don’t be shit””

“Philippe [Coutinho] had the ball and he passed a wonderful ball, then I used my qualities and pace.

Translation: “Coutinho had a shot but luckily I saved the day”
