Chelsea’s Willian was asked to name his ultimate 5-a-side team, and revealed himself to be the friend who goes ‘All-out-attack’ from kick-off on FIFA 16 with his choice of personnel.
The Chelsea forward is clearly of the mentality that: ‘we will score more than you’ and that defending is for the weak with pass master Iniesta, the majestic Ronaldinho, the original Ronaldo, the freak of nature Lionel Messi and the delightful Zizou making up a mouthwatering team.
Quite noticeably, the Brazilian international doesn’t include any of his current team-mates, which, given their egos, will no doubt see a few words exchanged in the dressing room.
Which Blues players were unlucky to miss out on a starting spot alongside Zidane et al?
Papy Djilobodji
With a surname that would give a Scrabble player nightmares, Djilobodji was unlucky not to make the grade after particularly impressing in his one Chelsea appearance.
Pedro
Pretty wank for Chelsea but throw the forward in, in place of Zidane and then you have five former or current Barcelona players pulling the strings. That would be a joy to watch.
Gary Cahill
Every team needs a boring, generic Football Manager regen footballer, right?
Diego Costa
You look at that team, and for all its thrills, there isn’t necessarily that one player who will follow you into battle, without asking questions.
Costa would show Zidane that headbutting opponents isn’t a once in a career kind of thing, it’s once every 180 minutes.
Marco Amelia
He’s no Hilario or Ross Turnbull but, for goodness sake, Willian, every team needs a ‘keeper!
