Bubba Watson’s upset again and he’s letting us know all about it. This time, he’s really pissed off about the changes being made to TPC Scottsdale, the site of the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Instead of being grateful that he gets to return to a beautiful course he’s made more than a million on in the past two years alone, he’s feeling quite petulant about being there at all and is blaming his reluctant presence entirely on his sponsors, rather like a surly teenager sulking through a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Europe with his parents.
“I don’t like it,” he complained, “I’m not going to PC it. I don’t like it at all. I just mentioned why I’m here… I’ve got three beautiful sponsors that love it here… Obviously I’m here because of my sponsors and everything. So, I love coming here. It’s always great weather. Used to have a house here. It’s always beautiful coming here and playing here.”
If it’s any comfort to anyone tired of his moaning, his ingratitude turned an otherwise supportive audience openly against him.
Bubba says he doesn't like TPC Scottsdale and is only here because of his sponsors. He should be shamed and boo'd off the course on 16 today

Of course, he’d say he was just telling it like it is and we all have to just deal with it. But well, sadly for him, it seems his public doesn’t see him as quite the outspoken hero he thinks he is and we think that’s a good thing.
