- Highlights from the famous 16th at TPC Scottsdale.
- Rickie Fowler has been enjoying the atmosphere that surrounds the green.

We’re beginning to sound like a broken record here at CLICKON. You’re probably aware that we love everything about the Waste Management Phoenix Open, the crowd are incredible and the atmosphere is electric.

500,000 people will attend TPC Scottsdale over the four days and there is no tournament like this in the world. It got us wondering, sure keep your church like silence for the majors, but why does every other event on the PGA TOUR not have a party hole?
20,000 people, mostly young, cram into the stadium surrounding the par 3 16th and the energy they create is making golf look very cool.

It’s time golf started to understand what needs to happen for our sport to appeal to a broader audience. The PGA TOUR recently banned the players from giving handouts to the fans, a decision that was lambasted by players, proving they have little idea of how to market the game correctly.

The players seem to thrive off the interaction and for once I wasn’t hesitant to steal the remote and change over to the golf, even the anti-golf collective in my apartment got on board with the Phoenix Open.
