We get that it’s easy to start drinking to excess on the golf course. There’s a well-stocked 19th hole right on the premises and so many cleverly disguised beverage dispensers that it’s almost an art form at this point. And why not? Golf’s an inherently interpersonal game and any time you interact, a little social lubricant doesn’t hurt. But while it may relax your stance and grease the wheels of communication, a ice-cold bottle of beer not much help when you’re actually trying to hit something. Or stay upright, for that matter. Oh well, if anything, at least your friends will be overjoyed at your expense.
