The brutal, inexplicable off-the-ball moment naturally brought about a straight red card but MK Don’s gaffer Karl Robinson has called for further action to be taken against the on loan Arsenal striker:
“He should be banned for the rest of the season. He’s clearly, off the ball, had a go and then a second one.”
Less than two weeks earlier, Sanogo was in the headlines for bagging an impressive hat-trick for the Addicks. However, a few days after that glorious moment, the striker is being red-carded for this unprecedented assault. These highs and lows pretty much sum up his career since Arsene Wenger signed him.
