- Adam Scott finished T-2 at the Northern Trust Open
- He ended the round with a crowd roaring chip in on the 18th hole
Adam Scott. We haven’t heard much about him since the anchored putter ban, but there he was, right in the race with the top contenders at the Northern Trust Open this week. Many thought the switch would hurt his game, but it was his putter this week that put him in contention.
At one point, Scott was the solo leader on the board, making almost every putt he needed to, to stay on top.
Adam Scott just keeps making putts. That’s 104 feet in four holes.

His swing was perfect, and he was actually really exciting to watch.

He ended up losing it a bit after making a couple of bogeys, and his putter cooled off after making 104ft in four holes. That’s a lot of pressure to keep making those numbers and in the end that’s what did him in. To stay in the game, he ended his round with a chip-in on 18 that made the crowd go wild!
“It’s been a long time, or maybe never, since I’ve heard a roar like that.”

It’s good to see the Aussie back in action, who finished one behind the leader Bubba Watson. I think we can only expect great things from Adam Scott this year!
