These two are on fire today at the first round of the Honda Classic. There has been some spectacular golf played at The Bear Trap, mostly from Rickie Fowler and Sergio Garcia. Phil and Rory are tied for 13th place at the moment, but it’s still only the first round.
Sergio had a chip in for eagle earlier today, and not too soon after was caught in a water hazard. He wasn’t too far out, so instead of taking a drop, he took off his shoes and went for a quick swim to punch out.
The shoes came off for Sergio Garcia.
He stayed clear of alligators and the rough with this shot. https://t.co/SMheyhyq8A

He made it onto the fairway, so i’d say that was a successful shot.
Although Rickie may be behind, he is not behind on style as he chipped in for par, attacking the pin with force. Coming off a tough loss seems to have only made Rickie want a win that much more. I have to say that I’m rooting for him, but then again I always am.
Leave the flag in, @RickieFowler is going hunting.
He’s one back of the lead. #QuickHits https://t.co/G1mT5Qisdn
