- Adam Scott bags his second consecutive win at the WGC Cadillac.
- The Australian’s run of 6 birdies in 9 holes saw him win by one shot.
Adam Scott is the guy you don’t introduce to your girlfriend. His suave style and lucid golf swing makes him one of the most aesthetically pleasing guys on TOUR. The world number 13 wasn’t supposed to have a good year, it was expected the anchoring ban would leave him struggling to make an impression this season, but that now sounds ridiculous after his performance this week.

What made this final round so impressive was his ability to get back in contention around the turn. The Blue Monster is one of the hardest courses on the circuit and Scott has a history of falling away when it matters. Not today.
Scott carded two double-bogeys on the front nine as he found the water twice. Somehow he dug deep and went on one of those runs that we dream about. 6 birdies later he had the lead until he suddenly looked to be chocking on the 16th…

Benefiting from the old adage that he who dares wins, Scott got this unbelievable break…

This has to be one of the biggest up and downs of his career as he cooly slotted it to 5 feet and holed the putt. It’s great to see the likeable Aussie succeeding again at the top of the game. You can’t help but be jealous of his talent and affability, he now has more wins than any other under-40 on TOUR. Congratulations you talented b*****!
Here’s how they finished.
