Hey Reds fans, remember Suso?
He just scored the best hat trick you’ll see in 2016, or 2017 for that matter.
A little history on Suso: he signed with Liverpool back in 2010, on his 17th birthday no less. He made his debut with the first squad in 2012 and didn’t take long before finding himself in some hot water for a sarcastic tweet about friend and teammate José Enrique. £10,000 later, young Suso learned his lesson about Twitter.
Suso extended his contract in 2012 (before the Tweet) but the high profile signings of Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho did not bode well for the young Spaniard, and Suso found himself on a season-long loan to La Liga club Almería by July of 2013.
He returned to the Reds in late 2014 but didn’t see much action. Suso signed a 4-year deal with Milan in January 2015 that took effect when his deal with Liverpool ran out in July 2015.
In January 2016, Suso was loaned out to Italian club Genoa for the season, where he’d been relatively quiet until this three goal explosion.
All three of these goals are quality.
I wonder if Liverpool and Milan are rethinking their decision to send the young lad packin’…
