Wine – like golf – is about passion, respect for nature, etiquette and sharing moments in life.”

The official wine of the 2016 Ryder Cup has been announced. Mouton Cadet has worked with the European Tour and is now partnering with the Ryder Cup. They teamed up specifically with Robert Trent Jones Jr., a famous golf course architect, who appreciates wine as much as he does the game.

The Ryder Cup US posted the image of the wine on their Instagram, clearly showing their priorities. The European team did not, giving the US team one leg up already! Hazeltine should be quite interesting this year.

There isn’t much information on how to obtain the wine at this moment but it is definitely a limited edition and will definitely sell out fast. Even if you don’t like wine, the design is beautifully done and would make a great addition to any collection. I know many people who would want this as a gift as well.

No matter how you look at it, this is a very smart decision on the Ryder Cup side. They’re promoting their event with alcohol. Smart, smart people.

Thirsty anyone?
