WATCH: Ernie Els’ Putting Tragedy Continues

It was saddening to see Ernie Els have another visit from the yips on the first hole this morning. The South African had a savage 6 putt from 2 feet yesterday and received sympathy from almost every corner of golf.

The gallery applauded every shot as the four-time major winner tentatively crawled around Augusta National today. The saddest thing about this affliction is the fact Ernie has lost no distance off the tee. At the age of 46 he still averages 300 yards with the driver. He stands on +11 after 33 holes.
