Jordan Spieth’s Performance Did Recede But His Hair Did The Opposite

Watching Jordan Spieth walk down the 18th on Sunday usually means two things are about to happen. One, he will calmly sink a putt to win. Two, he will remove his cap and anxiously groom his hair to account for the growing five head. But on Sunday, none of these things happened. Danny Willet shot five under and Jordan Spieth played himself out of contention with a shocker quadruple bogey on the 12th. Not only that but Jordan wasn’t aggressively prepping his hair for a rare appearance.

It looks like he has put some work into bringing some balance back to his young face. Or maybe we are watching the curious case of Jordan Spieth, a troubling tale about a life that is reversed – god help every professional golfer if that happens.

People have started speculating that he is contractually obliged to wear an Under Armour cap every second of the day. These rumours can’t be validated but they have been alleviated. Watching Jordan we noticed a few things. He was obviously devastated and struggled to keep his head up as the ceremony took place. It took every fibre of his being to put on a brave face as he attempted to mask his disappointment.

Every cloud has a silver lining though, Jordan. Has he been addressing his regression? Has the painful onset of premature baldness been reversed? Does Jordan have a deceptively hairy back that has enabled the movement of hair a la Wayne Rooney?

No doubt some of you will challenge the seriousness of these questions, but hey, the kid is sad and the positive results of some elusive hair growth might be the cheer up he needs. At this rate he could look very different next year.
