It was peak Chelsea last night, when they not only ended Tottenham Hotspur’s title bid, but also managed to get the Lilywhites to lower themselves to their own petulant and arsehole ways.
Mousa Dembele was eye gouging, Mauricio Pochettino was on the field tussling with players and Eric Dier was close to breaking legs.

Tottenham actually collected a Premier League record of nine yellow cards in a single game at Stamford Bridge on Monday night. Which in fact represents 13% of their total for this season. Talk about a meltdown.
Chelsea’s game-plan was obvious from the beginning, and they had clearly set out to antagonise Spurs – which is their tactic for every game when Diego Costa is playing. The Blues were so set on this strategy to wind up the Lilywhites, that even resident good guy, Willian, was provoking the Tottenham faithful.
Given the FA will be more than busy with several other incidents from the game, the Brazilian midfielder may well escape a bringing the game into disrepute/unsporting conduct charge!
